MSM offers an array of injury prevention and athletic care programs for community organizations, coaches, athletes and parents. These programs bring the latest in sports medicine knowledge and treatment to the community.

Our Sports Medicine Library and Health Information for You provide valuable information on a variety of sports medicine-related topics. We also offer the following resources that are readily used to prepare for an upcoming sports season or on the sidelines.

First Step for Soccer: An injury prevention and and strengthening program for soccer coaches and parents who work with soccer teams. Through the training manual and DVD (or VHS), our experts take you step-by-step through pre- and in-season exercises to improve cutting and pivoting skills, strength and agility. View First Step.

First Aid Resources: The First Aid Guide for Athletes: A consumer guide to treating common sports injuries and the companion first aid kit offer coaches and parents a one-stop sideline resource. Filled with helpful information, including how to treat nose bleeds, bee stings and cuts, the Guide and Kit are a must have. Discounts available.

Medical Magnet/Health Professions Program

As part of our commitment to advancing sports medicine practice, MSM participates in the Medical Magnet/Health Professions program. The Medical Magnet program is open to high school students who have an interest in exploring a health career and gives him/her the chance to work with sports medicine and orthopaedic doctors in a unique setting. Activities include job shadowing, mentoring, field trips, volunteering and more.
