Bryan Mayol, M.D., CAQ

Board-certified family practice physician, Bryan Mayol, M.D., brings more than nine years of experience to his sports medicine and non-surgical orthopedic practice at Fairview Sports & Orthopedic Care-Rogers. Dr. Mayol earned his medical degree at the Indiana University School of Medicine, Indianapolis, Indiana in 1997, and completed a family practice residency at St. Vincent Hospitals and Health Services in Indianapolis in 2000.

His advanced training includes completing a Sports Medicine Fellowship at Central Indiana Orthopedics & Sports Medicine in Muncie, Indiana. He earned a Certificate of Added Qualifications (CAQ) in sports medicine in 2002 from the American Board of Family Practice.

Prior to joining Fairview Sports & Orthopedic Care, Dr. Mayol worked in private practice at OrthoIndy and Cornerstone Family Physicians, both in Indianapolis. His wide-ranging experience includes serving as Medical Director for the 2004 FINA World Swimming Championships, Associate Medical Director for the 2002 FIBA World Basketball Championships, physician for the 2002 Winter Olympic Games in Salt Lake City, Utah, the 2000 U.S. Olympic Swimming Trials, and providing physician coverage for various area sports teams that included the Indianapolis Indians AAA Baseball team, Franklin College, and Greenwood High School.

He is a member of the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine, the International Spine Intervention Society and the American Academy of Family Physicians.
